Anne Braley

Anne is originally from Surrey and now based in South Wales, Anne has sung with various opera companies including European Chamber Opera, White Horse Opera, Opera School of Wales, Neath Opera and Opera Playhouse in roles including Carmen and Mercedes (Carmen), Nicklausse (Tales of Hoffman), Meg Page (Merry Wives of Windsor), Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), Prince Orlofsky (Die Fledermaus), Miss Benson (Lakmé), Phoebe (Yeomen of the Guard), Annina (La Traviata), Filypyevna (Eugene Onegin) and Third Lady (Magic Flute).

Anne appears regularly as a concert and oratorio soloist with choral societies and male voice choirs. Her repertoire includes Bach’s Magnificat and Christmas Oratorio, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Beethoven’s Mass in C, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Mendelssohn’s St Paul, as well as works by Mozart, Schubert and Vivaldi.

Anne is a member of the ensemble Opera Sulis, performing popular operatic repertoire in the south west of England, and also sings with London-based Opera d’Amici and South Wales quartet Viva to the Diva.
